The approach

Hormones set the rhythm of energy, mood, sleep, weight, libido and focus. When they shift, through perimenopause, menopause, stress, thyroid changes or age-related decline in testosterone, the effects show up everywhere.

We evaluate the full picture: symptoms, cycle history, thyroid, adrenal and sex hormones, insulin and nutrients. Your plan may include nutrition and lifestyle changes, targeted supplements, or prescription hormone therapy when it is appropriate and safe for you.

What we look at

The whole picture.

  1. 01

    Perimenopause and menopause

Hot flashes, night sweats, irregular cycles, mood changes and sleep disruption.

  2. 02

    Cycle and PMS symptoms

Heavy, painful or irregular periods and the mood swings that come with them.

  3. 03

    Low testosterone

Fatigue, low drive, loss of muscle and motivation in men and women.

  4. 04

    Thyroid health

A complete thyroid panel, beyond TSH alone, read together with your symptoms.

  5. 05

    Natural or prescription therapy

From nutrition and supplements to bioidentical or conventional hormone therapy, with monitoring.

FAQ · Hormone Optimization

Questions, answered

01Do you offer hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?

Yes, when it is appropriate. After reviewing your symptoms, history and labs, prescription hormone therapy may be part of your plan, alongside nutrition, lifestyle and supplement support. It is monitored with follow-up visits and repeat labs.

02Do you offer bioidentical hormones?

Bioidentical hormones are one of the options we consider. Whether they fit you depends on your symptoms, your medical history and your lab results; we explain the benefits and risks of each option before you decide.

03Do you treat men with low testosterone?

Yes. We evaluate men with symptoms such as fatigue, low libido, low mood or loss of muscle, confirm levels with proper lab timing, and look for causes such as sleep, weight, insulin resistance or thyroid before choosing a treatment.

04Which hormone tests will I need?

It depends on your symptoms. A typical evaluation can include estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol, a full thyroid panel, insulin and key nutrients. Labs are drawn at a local lab of your choice in Florida.

05Can you help with perimenopause symptoms?

Yes. Perimenopause can start years before periods stop, with irregular cycles, sleep problems, anxiety and weight changes. We treat it as its own stage, not as something to wait out.

06Is hormone therapy expensive?

The visit fee covers your care; labs and any medication are separate and vary with the type of therapy. We review the options with you, including cost, before you start anything.

07Can hormone imbalance cause weight gain?

It can contribute. Changes in estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid hormone, cortisol and insulin all affect where the body stores fat and how hungry you feel. That is why we look at hormones and metabolism together.
