About Ismelis Gata, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C
I’m Ismelis Gata, a bilingual (English & Spanish) Board-Certified NursePractitioner in Florida. My journey in medicine began over 18 years ago in Cuba, where I trained and practiced as a physician specializing in family and integrative medicine. After immigrating to the U.S., I continued my path in healthcare, earning my MSN from Florida International University with the highest honors and building a diverse clinical foundation in endocrinology, primary care, and chronic disease management.
With extensive experience in outpatient care, preventive health, and metabolic conditions, I offer a personalized approach that integrates thebest of conventional medicine with evidence-based, functional strategies. My clinical interests include hormone optimization, insulin resistance, thyroid balance, and longevity-focused care. I have also completed advanced training in genomic interpretation and functional lab analysis, which allows me to tailor care on a cellular and systems level.
My mission is to help patients move beyond symptom management and uncover the root causes of their health concerns. Through every consultation, I strive to restore balance, vitality, and long-term wellness with compassion, science, and a deep respect for the uniqueness of each individual.
